Madrid hosts the 20th MEASNET Council of Members Meeting
• In this forum, the MEASNET CoM has discussed the organisation’s new goals and challenges.
• Executive Board, members and Expert Groups have presented their achievements and projects.
• The Anemometer Calibration Expert Group has held too their face-to-face meeting, on the occasion of this gathering.
Madrid, 28.05.2024.- MEASNET has held its 20th Council of Members (CoM) Meeting in Madrid (Spain). This is the yearly forum where making decisions on the operational functioning of the organisation and future strategies.
During this working session, the MEASNET CoM has discussed the organisation’s new goals and challenges. The Executive Board has presented the achievements and ongoing projects, as well as some mid-term plans.
Members and Expert Groups have also been invited to show their news and the projects they are focused on.
Taking the occasion of this gathering, the Anemometer Calibration Expert Group has held also their face-to-face meeting in Madrid. This reaffirms the renewed commitment of the members of the group to work in this area of competence.
MEASNET currently counts 29 members, which are technical laboratories from Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, and The United States.

MEASNET, International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes, is a non-profit organisation for accredited technical service providers engaged in the field of wind energy. Founded in 1997, its goal is to ensure high quality measurements, uniform interpretation of standards and recommendations, as well as interchangeability of results.
MEASNET currently counts 29 members, which are technical laboratories from Australia, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Spain, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, and The United States.
Since 2015, MEASNET holds an agreement with IECRE to offer and perform Proficiency Tests under the rules of IECRE as a privileged partner. Furthermore, in 2019, MEASNET signed an A-Liaison with the IEC TC 88 group to promote technology transfer and speed up the process of development and updating of technical guidelines.
