Fermín Regueiro, re-elected Coordinator of the Measnet Acoustic Noise ExG
• Regueiro is Technical Director in Aresse Engineering, with extensive experience in wind turbine noise.
• He has been the Coordinator of the Acoustic Noise Expert Group since the end of 2023.
Madrid, 2026.02.26.- Engineer Fermín Regueiro has just been re-elected as the Coordinator of the Measnet Acoustic Noise Expert Group (ExG). He was initially appointed by his colleagues to this position in 2023.

In this role, he will be the focal point between the Measnet Executive Board and the ExG. Among other functions, he will organize and keep track of the group’s work. He will also act as this collective’s spokesperson at the yearly face-to-face meeting with the Executive Board and the coordinators of the other Measnet Expert Groups.
Under his coordination, the technical panel has developed projects such as the update of the ‘Acoustic Noise Measurement Procedure – Version 4’, released on October, 2025. This document is available on the Measnet website, “Documents” section.
Fermín Regueiro holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has eight years of experience working in Aresse Engineering as a test engineer specialized in wind turbine noise.
As a Technical Director in Aresse, he oversees the technical coordination of all engineering projects.

Founded in 1997, its goal is to ensure high quality measurements, uniform interpretation of standards and recommendations, as well as interchangeability of results.

Since 2015, Measnet collaborates with IECRE to provide and perform Proficiency Tests under its rules. Furthermore, in 2019, the organization signed an A-Liaison with the IEC TC 88 group to promote technology transfer and speed up the process of development and updating of technical guidelines.
