Madrid, 2026.05.19.- Measnet announces a new member in the competence area of Site Assessment: ProfEC Ventus, which has been part of the organization since 2016 in the Anemometer Calibration area (now Wind Sensor Calibration). With this step, the company further strengthens its commitment to Measnet.

With this addition, the international non-profit organization in the wind energy sector now counts 14 recognized technical laboratories offering Site Assessment services.

“We are delighted to welcome ProfEC Ventus — a proactive and committed member for many years — to a new service area,” said Monika Krämer, Chairwoman of Measnet. “It is always positive for the organization when our members take on new challenges, expanding their scope and strengthening their market position. This also contributes to Measnet’s work towards achieving the highest quality standards in the renewable energy industry,” she added.

On his part, Mathias Hoelzer, ProfEc Ventus Managing Director, stated: “The expansion of our Measnet membership is a natural progression for ProfEC Ventus. Having served the industry for years with Measnet-recognised sensor calibrations, we are now proud to bring that same level of technical rigour and international standardization to our Site Assessment services.
