Madrid, 2025.11.06.- The Measnet Site Assessment Expert Group has held its annual face-to-face meeting in Hamburg (Germany) this week, at the DNV headquarters. Those members unable to attend joined via videoconference.

This forum has offered and ideal opportunity to discuss the most relevant issues concerning its collaborative work. It is also a chance to raise challenges and future projects in an area of expertise that is becoming increasingly significant in the wind energy industry.

The event also provided an ideal setting to personally welcome the newest member of the group, USENS Energy Solutions. The company from Türkiye joined Measnet last September, becoming its 30th member.

This Expert Group, currently coordinated by Daniel Ortiz (Barlovento Applus+), includes representatives from Enallaktiki Energiaki (2EN), Barlovento Applus+, CRES, Deutsche WindGuard, DNV, DTU Wind and Energy Systems, GEO-NET, International Wind Engineering, ISTOS Renewables, LME – CIRCE, USENS Energy Solutions, Wind-consult and windtest grevenbroich.

Measnet (International Network of Wind Energy Measurement Institutes) includes six official Expert Groups, plus an unofficial one in the field of Remote Sensing. Focused on specific measurement tasks, they advise and support the Executive Board and the Council of Members on the definition of the measurement procedures.
