MEASNET Vice Chairman, new IECRE Lead Assessor

• Alejandro Martinez’s designation was announced during the last IECRE REMC Stakeholder Group 551 meeting, held last 5th September in Grevenbroich (Germany).

• During this forum, it was presented the IECRE PT Report 23-Q3 on the status of the Proficiency Tests run by MEASNET, under IECRE rules, performed in different competence areas.

Madrid, 22.09.2023.- IECRE REMC Stakeholder Group 551 meeting was held last 5th September in Grevenbroich (Germany). The forum was hosted by Eric Effern, from windtest grevenbroich, back into action after a break. Welcome back, Eric!

At this meeting, it was announced the designation of MEASNET Vice Chairman, Alejandro Martinez, as new IECRE Lead Assessor. He will assume two different roles: evaluate the system part of the assessment, and managing the differences between the assessed part and the technical assessors.

Alejandro Martinez presented the IECRE PT Report 23-Q3 on the status of the Proficiency Tests run by MEASNET, under IECRE rules, which have been successfully performed in the competence areas of Power Performance, Mechanical Loads, Electrical Characteristics, Acoustic Noise, and Anemometer Calibration.

Additionally, he made known the draft external report of Power Performance Proficiency Test for IECRE, which was approved by the meeting attendees. This report, as well as those of the other completed PTs, will be made public in the coming months.
