Program Workshop 2018
MEASNET Workshop 2018: Next 24th of September in Hamburg
In the last couple of years, the use of remote sensing has gained a lot of confidence from the main players of the wind industry due to the increase of its acceptance and broader integration within the international standards. After the release of the IEC 61400-12-1 rev. 2, the implementation of remote sensing devices such as LiDARs and SoDARs for power performance measurements has increased significantly, allowing the end users more flexibility before and during the campaign. Particularly in Germany, with the 10th revision of the technical guideline (TR6), a clearer panorama has been presented for the wind farm developers concerning resource assessment with the aid of these devices.
MEASNET recognizes the importance of such standard methods and, through the expert groups of power performance, site assessment and remote sensing, tries to mitigate the still existing barriers and ambiguities in the existing guidelines for the better use of this technologies. The aim of this workshop is to bring the experts of the wind industry together for a broad discussion of the most important topics and new developments in these areas.
If you are interested in attending the workshop on the 24th of September at 10:00 in Hamburg, please send an email before the 9th of September to: secretary.lucia@measnet.com or you can directly fulfill the registration form.
Please note that the workshop does not have any cost.
